Week 5: May 4 – 8

Good Morning Grade 1’s!

I was sooooo very happy to see those of you that showed up to our Google Meet on Friday! I was talking about it all weekend long with my family😁 So many friends are taking this time to learn new things, like bike riding and baking. Don’t worry if you missed out, we will have another Google Meet next week!

This week is a fun week with a lot to celebrate! We have Catholic Education week, May the Fourth — Star Wars Day, and Mothers Day. This week, we are going to focus on practicing counting coins and working on some more spring writing and phonics. Remember grade 1’s I want you to keep trying your very best and if you make a mistake it’s OK, because that shows you are trying!

P.S. Don’t forget this upcoming Sunday (May 10) is Mother’s Day! So ask someone to help you print the Mother’s Day craft and try your best to keep it a secret from your mom, aunt or grandma… Shhh!🤫
